GLOBAL IMPACT
Ground truth to empower a sustainable food system
and to protect natural environments.
Our food and our environment are inextricably linked - and more vulnerable than ever.
The world is warming - and agriculture accounts for one third of greenhouse gas emissions.
Climate change strains food production, and disproportionately hurts smallholder farmers.
Nature-based solutions like reforestation and afforestation promise climate, biodiversity, agricultural, and financial benefits.
But trusted measurement and monitoring remains a struggle.
Better data will help us tackle these challenges. But we need to act now.
That’s why Agerpoint is building accessible tools to validate ground truth in fields, forests, and coastal areas.
And that’s why we partner with leading organizations to scale our impact together:

Partners with AIM for Climate
Centering Agriculture in Climate Action
A joint effort from the United States and the United Arab Emirates, the Agriculture Innovation Mission for Climate (AIM for Climate) brings together governments, businesses, academia, and more to support “climate-smart agriculture and food systems innovation.”
Agerpoint not only brings its technology into the conversation, it shapes the conversation itself. Through its interview series The Point Cloud, Agerpoint features thoughtful conversations with global leaders from the AIM for Climate Summit.
WEF Technology Pioneer
Collaborating with the World Community
As a Technology Pioneer, Agerpoint engages with global leaders in the World Economic Forum community to help address key industry and societal issues such as food security and climate change. We are committed to exchanging ideas, building community, and promoting innovation.
Agerpoint is aligned with the United Nations’ vision of zero hunger and climate stability. From in-person gatherings to digital discourse, we are proud to help elevate the role of regenerative agriculture and reforestation on the road to COP 28 and beyond.

Seeing the Forest and The Trees
The right trees in the right place can do good for people and the planet. Trees can sequester carbon, enhance biodiversity, and make farms more profitable.
Agerpoint technology helps measure, report, and verify projects to plant and promote trees - but our commitment doesn’t stop there. As a part of 1t.org, we’re innovating alongside companies and communities working to conserve, restore, and grow 1 trillion trees by 2030.
Innovation Through Collaboration
Plant Science on Campus
Agerpoint is a member of the N.C. Plant Sciences Initiative's Innovation Hub, “a space dedicated to enabling new partnerships and idea exchanges between industry and the N.C. PSI's scientific experts and students.”
The Innovation Hub is the Plant Sciences Building on North Carolina State University’s Centennial Campus.
In addition, Agerpoint’s Chief Data Officer Dan Maycock is a visiting researcher at NC State University, helping to develop programs focused on data engineering best practices in agriculture.
Know Your Carbon™
Voluntary carbon markets require verified carbon measurements - but satellite data is not enough.
Models need ground truth to reflect reality.
Agerpoint’s Commitment to Ground Truth
Manual measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) is labor-intensive and inefficient - but there is a way forward.
Know Your Carbon™ is an accessible, digital MRV solution for reforestation, afforestation, and agroforestry projects.
Integrate precise above-ground plant measurements with geospatial data to help verify how much carbon your trees keep in the ground.
Advanced plant metrics also guide better intervention decisions, monitor biodiversity, predict yield, and track sustainability.
